Job summary
Staffline is recruiting for a Refuse HGV Driver to work for Derby City Council. This full-time role has a 6am start, Monday to Friday, and pays £15.56 per hour. There is a temp-to-perm pathway and onsite Staffline support.
The role involves driving a Refuse HGV, emptying bins, and performing related duties in all weather. A Cat C licence with CPC and tachograph card is required along with experience in similar roles and the physical capability to perform long shifts.
Qualifications

- Experience in a similar refuse driving role.
- Physically capable of long periods on feet and heavy lifting.

This is a full time role and hours of work are:
Monday to Friday 6am to finish
As Refuse HGV Driver you will be Driving a Refuse HGV vehicle and emptying bins where required.
This is a highly physical role that involves working in all weather conditions and some heavy lifting.
Our perfect Refuse HGV Driver would be able to physically capable of emptying bins and walking long distances.
- Be happy to spend long periods of time on their feet in all weather conditions.
- Must have Cat C Licence with an up to date CPC and driver tacho Card
- Have experience in a similar role.
- Earn £15.56 per hour
- Shift 6am to finish
