Job description

Oue client -who convert vans into refrigerated units require a new installer at their Long Stratton site.

Job Overview

To install refrigeration units and mount kits to vehicles as per the vehicle specification.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Running cables & pipe work and secure with the correct method.
• Connection of the refrigeration unit.
• Commissioning of refrigeration units.
• Using a variety of handheld and power tools.
• Refitting parts to required QA standards.
• Maintain legible and accurate paperwork in line with QA standards.
• Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
• Be familiar with the company's Health and Safety Policies and in particular with your responsibilities.
• Comply with all relevant internal rules, policies and procedures, included in the company handbook.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Have an understanding of electrics and electrical diagrams.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
• Understanding of quality processes.
• Must be organised and take pride in their work.
