Job summary

The Refrigeration Service Engineer role is field-based around the M25 corridor, with work primarily in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. A full driving licence is required for daily travel with a company van and fuel card provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Service Engineer.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
• Valid F-Gas Certification, R290 and CO₂ qualifications.
• CSCS Card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work across customer sites around the M25 corridor.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive breakdown repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment across customer sites throughout the M25 corridor.
• Service, maintain and repair cold rooms, display cabinets, chillers, freezer units and associated refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose faults quickly and carry out effective repairs to minimise customer downtime.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance visits across sites around the M25.
• Ensure all work complies with current Health & Safety legislation and F-Gas regulations.
• Complete service reports using digital reporting systems.
• Deliver a professional, customer‑focused service at all times.
• Participate in the on‑call rota and attend emergency call‑outs across the M25 region when required.
