Refrigeration Installation Engineer

My Client

My client provides premium building service solutions to leading food manufacturers and distributors in the Southwest of England. They also operate a renewable division that offers low-carbon heating and cooling solutions to commercial and domestic customers.

The Role

They are seeking a Refrigeration Installation Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with refrigeration installation, a strong understanding of electrical systems, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform refrigeration installations, including interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Utilise electrical knowledge and braising techniques.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve project and company goals.
• Provide excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Travel to sites around Exeter, with occasional overnight stays.

Requirements

• Experience in refrigeration installation, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Good electrical knowledge.
• Commissioning experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure to high standards.
• City and Guilds F-Gas qualification (or equivalent).
• IPAF certification, Level 2 NVQ, and braising certifications are beneficial.
• Full UK driving license.
