Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates in Exeter seeks a Refrigeration Installation Engineer to join a growing team, delivering hands‑on refrigeration installations across food manufacturing projects. The role is site‑based with travel to regional and national sites and an on‑call component for breakdowns.

You will work across refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and general fitting tasks, liaising with clients and site leads, while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

Qualifications

• F‑Gas certification is required.
• CSCS Card required for access to sites.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel regionally or nationally for projects.
• IPAF certification and Working at Heights experience preferred.
• Awareness of CDM Regulations in construction projects.
• Experience using app‑based job management systems.
• First Responder or First Aid at Work certification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install refrigeration equipment including freezers, fridges and cooling systems.
• Install pumps, pipework, heating and ventilation systems.
• Carry out plumbing, fabric, groundwork and general fitting tasks.
• Follow RAMS and read technical drawings/P&IDs.
• Coordinate with clients and site leads; report progress.
• Be part of the on‑call rota and support breakdowns.
• Travel to sites regionally and nationally as required.
