Job summary

Arcus FM is seeking a Senior Refrigeration Engineer stepping into a Managing Engineer role or an existing Managing Engineer within Refrigeration to join a stable supervision team. Based in the South West region with proven supermarket refrigeration experience, you will lead a mobile team and handle on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence essential.
• City & Guilds qualification in Refrigeration (incl. F-Gas).
• 18th Edition knowledge desirable.
• 5+ years post-qualification experience in a mobile Refrigeration role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Refrigeration Engineers and act as daily point of contact.
• Provide technical support and training to the team.
• Manage on-call rota and holiday/absence cover.
• Assist Area Support Manager with HR processes and performance reviews.
• Deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance (PPM).
• Support budget control for parts and materials; report overspend.
