Refrigeration Engineer - South Wales

Benefits: £37,000 - £42,000 per annum, 40 hours/week, door-to-door pay, 20+8 days holiday (increasing to 25 days), 1 in 5 on-call (phone initially), van, uniform, laptop.

We have been established for 15 years, providing industrial refrigeration services to food processing plants, breweries, and cold storages across the country. Our operations include two sites, one being a large warehouse depot with a team of engineers and training facilities. We specialize in the installation, design, service, and maintenance of refrigeration equipment.

We are currently seeking experienced Refrigeration Engineers to join our team. The role requires experience with transport refrigeration, which will be part of your responsibilities, along with work on large industrial sites. Staying away from home will be necessary for this role.

Responsibilities

1. Repair, service, and maintain blast freezers, holding stores, cold rooms, and chillers.
2. Assist with the installation of large equipment.
3. Conduct regular maintenance checks and identify faults.
4. Provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
5. Meet clients in the field – this is a customer-facing position.

Requirements

• Full UK driver’s license.
• NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or FGAS certification.
• Experience working with refrigeration equipment.

Package

• Up to £42,000 annually.
• 40-hour workweek, door-to-door pay.
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing with service.
• On-call 1 in 5, initially via phone.
• Van and fuel card.
• Uniform, tools, laptop, pension.
