Location: Covering Large Supermarket Sites in Portsmouth, Fareham, and Gosport

Salary: £50,027 (includes on-call allowance for 1 week in every 4)

Job Type: Permanent, 45 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with on-call duties every 4 weeks

Job Description

The Refrigeration Engineer role offers a fantastic opportunity for ambitious and experienced engineers to join a well-established business. Main responsibilities include:

• Delivery of planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance on site, adhering to project specifications and timelines.
• Coordination with the Regional Manager to ensure timely and compliant maintenance works.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Identifying and resolving repair, maintenance, and installation issues affecting project delivery.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience in refrigeration maintenance environments.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• City & Guilds (2079) F-Gas certification.

Experience in large retail supermarkets is preferred but candidates from other commercial or industrial sectors are considered. A full valid driving license and willingness to travel daily are required.
