Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd is recruiting experienced Refrigeration Engineers for field-based roles across a large-scale supermarket estate. Opportunities are available on both permanent and temporary contracts to meet seasonal demand and ongoing contract growth.

The role focuses on high-quality service, maintenance, and reactive support, requiring proven refrigeration experience within retail or FM environments and a full UK driving licence. Expect a 45-hour week with an OTE of £60K.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial refrigeration in retail/FM environments.
• Valid F-Gas (Category 1) qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems (packs, integrals, walk-ins).
• Fault finding and reactive breakdown response.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with SFG20 standards.
• Ensuring all work complies with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards.
• Accurate completion of job reports via PDA/CAF system.
• Providing excellent client-facing service on-site.
