Salary: £45,923.75 per annum (Including standby + 5% SLA)

The Vacancy

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £45,923.75 per annum (Including standby + 5% SLA). Total package includes overtime, travel time, 33 days holiday, private pension, private health care, life insurance, and employee discounts.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our company and work with one of our major UK supermarket clients.

Role Responsibilities

1. Carry out planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across multiple retail stores.
2. Maintain and repair a range of refrigeration equipment, including CO2 refrigeration pack systems.
3. Identify faults and advise the Refrigeration Manager with recommendations for repairs or replacements.
4. Perform minor alterations and installations within your technical competence, following current specifications.

Qualifications and Experience

• SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration or equivalent qualification.
• City and Guilds 2079-1 FGas Category 1.
• Desirable but not essential: City and Guilds 7671 18th Edition, City and Guilds CO2 Refrigeration System Services.
• Experience working with supermarket refrigeration systems.
• Flexible to participate in a 24/7 on-call rota (every 1:4 weeks).
• Full driving license and experience using a PDA system.
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform PPM and reactive maintenance in a retail environment.
