Job summary

FRONTrunner Recruitment Ltd is seeking a commercial refrigeration engineer to join a well-established team servicing hospitality clients in Central London and surrounding areas. You will perform service, maintenance and repairs on cold rooms, cabinet fridges, ice machines, decks, walk-ins and related systems across bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants and hotels.

The ideal candidate has experience with commercial catering refrigeration and holds a valid F Gas certificate (Hydrocarbons cert preferred).

Qualifications

• Experience doing service, maintenance and repairs on commercial catering refrigeration equipment.
• F Gas Certificate and hydrocarbons cert needed.
• IPAF and PASMA would be beneficial.
• Living around and travelling to the London area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repairs on refrigeration equipment for hospitality clients.
• Support customers in Central London area with on-site service.
• Operate with provided van, tools and safety equipment.

They have a plan and that starts with taking on two brand new engineers to work on refrigeration.

Salary and Benefits of a refrigeration engineer

• 52-55k basic - realistic 60k OTE
• Van, phone, fuel card, company credit card, uniform
• 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays which will increase with years of service
• Plenty of overtime, call out rota of 1 in 5 weekends - £100 stand by + overtime rate

They are looking for a commercial refrigeration engineer you will be:

• Working in and around the Central London and west end area
• Providing service, maintenance and repairs on refrigeration - cold rooms, cabinet fridges, ice machines, decks, walk in fridges and freezer rooms, cellar cooling
• Working with the hospitality sector - bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants, hotels

Skills Needed to be a refrigeration engineer:

• Experience doing service, maintenance and repairs on commercial catering refrigeration equipment
• F Gas Certificate and hydrocarbons cert needed
• IPAF and PASMA would be beneficial
• Living anywhere in or around the London area or within travelling distance to the central London area
