Salary: £50,027.05 Total Salary (Inclusive of Standby Payment), Overtime, Travel Time, 33 Days Holiday, Private Pension & Benefits including Private Health Care, Life Insurance, Employee Discounts

This is a key position involving planned and reactive maintenance across several Asda sites.

You will serve as the first line for all service and maintenance at your designated sites.

Your responsibilities include maintaining and repairing refrigeration equipment in customer locations and assisting with HVAC systems containing refrigeration circuits.

Engineering teams provide 24-hour service coverage throughout the year, utilizing planned and extended working hours, including standby rota participation.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Prioritize maintenance and repair work to meet specified timescales and response times.
2. Identify non-repairable faults promptly and advise the Line Manager with recommendations for replacements.
3. Ensure PPM schedules are completed within the agreed times and all paperwork is accurately completed according to procedures.
4. Maintain up-to-date technical and compliance documentation.
5. Participate in out-of-hours standby rota and communicate coverage needs due to holidays or unforeseen circumstances to the line manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. NVQ/C&G Refrigeration Based Qualification
2. Refrigerant Handling C&G 2079 or equivalent CITB certificate
3. Knowledge of Refrigeration, Electrical, Air Conditioning, and Mechanical systems
4. BS7671 (IEE 16/17th Edition)
