Omega Plc is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to cover the North West & North Wales on commercial refrigeration equipment. You will be the first line in service and maintenance across allocated sites and will repair systems at customer locations.

Responsibilities include fault finding, communicating with customers on site, and keeping up to date with product updates. The role offers a company van, 25 days holiday plus your birthday off, pension, life assurance and ongoing training.

Formación

• Time served apprenticeship with an NVQ/City & Guilds refrigeration qualification.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification (C&G 2079/CITB refrigerant handling).
• Strong refrigeration, electrical, mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and apply Health & Safety legislation.
• Hydrocarbon experience is desirable but not essential.

Refrigeration Engineer North West & North Wales £42,637 + £2,000 performance bonus Permanent Omega are supporting a leading facilities management provider in their search for a Refrigeration Engineer working on commercial refrigeration equipment. You will be the first line in all service and maintenance throughout allocated sites. They will also effectively maintain service and repair Refrigeration Equipment in customer locations and aid HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits.

Key Responsibilities

• Refrigeration Engineer Identify faults and carry out effective repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers on site and coordinate with internal service administration teams.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of new products, technical updates, and product developments.
• Handle engineer and customer queries over the phone, offering clear and accurate guidance.
• Report product issues and work closely with QC and Service Managers on product improvements and safety matters.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Refrigeration Engineer Commercial or Transport Refrigeration experience
• Time served apprenticeship with an NVQ / City & Guilds refrigeration qualification.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification (C&G 2079 / CITB refrigerant handling).
• Strong refrigeration, electrical, mechanical and diagnostic skills, with proven experience in fault finding and problem solving.
• Good refrigeration knowledge, including commercial systems and electrical safety awareness.
• Ability to read technical drawings and apply relevant Health & Safety legislation.
• Hydrocarbon experience (desired but not essential).
