Job summary

Oyster Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to deliver high-quality support to customers in a field-based role. You will diagnose faults on commercial and industrial equipment, perform maintenance, and build trusted relationships with clients.

The role offers a base salary up to £50,000 per year with an OTE of £65,000+, private medical insurance, a company bonus, death in service, enhanced pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and strong career progression

Qualifications

• Proven field-based experience as a Refrigeration Engineer or Service Technician.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Confidence using diagnostic software, mobile apps and MS Office.
• NVQ L2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent qualification.
• F-Gas certification (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in UK.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of commercial and industrial plants using diagnostic tools.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and on-site repairs.
• Act as main point of contact for customers and build long-term relationships.
• Participate in on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of commercial and industrial plants and equipment using cutting-edge diagnostic tools.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, emergency breakdown repairs and commissioning work on customer sites.
• Act as the main point of contact for your customers, building trusted, long-term relationships.
• Participating in an on-call rota

Who They’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a field-based Service Technician or Refrigeration Engineer.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Confidence using diagnostic software, mobile apps and MS Office.
• NVQ L2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent industry related qualification
• A valid F-Gas certification (or equivalent).
• A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
