Job description

A well-established growing Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration company is looking for a dedicated Refrigeration Engineer to join their dynamic team. This full-time hybrid role offers flexibility as a Field Refrigeration Engineer across Newcastle and or Darlington.

The successful Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and preventive servicing of refrigeration systems, always ensuring high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems.
2. Work on CO₂ systems (training available if required).
3. Manage tasks both independently and as part of a team.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

1. 2–3 years of commercial refrigeration experience.
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
3. Ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
4. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

On Offer:

1. Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum.
2. Overtime: Plenty of overtime opportunities, including weekends, if desired.
3. Paid Travel: Door-to-door travel paid.
4. Standby: 1 in 4 (£170 weekly standby payment).
