Refrigeration Engineer (Service / Maintenance)

Location: Wolvey

Salary: GBP40,000 to GBP45,000 Base Salary DOE + Overtime + 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Work Van + Technical Development

Hours: 40 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 (Some Flexibility Required)

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer for a well-established provider of machinery used within food manufacturing on a global basis. This role offers a days-based schedule, technical development opportunities, and the chance to travel internationally.

This position is suitable for an experienced refrigeration service engineer.

The successful candidate will split their time between the company’s workshop in Wolvey, Leicestershire, and customer sites. Approximately 60-70% of the work will be at UK client sites, with up to 40% involving international travel, typically up to a week at a time.

The Refrigeration Service Engineer Role:
  1. Reconditioning used machinery
  2. Pre-delivery inspections of new equipment
  3. Service and repair of machinery on customer sites
  4. Traveling internationally to client sites (up to 40%)
  5. Working with automated machinery in food and dairy industries
  6. Collaborating with senior engineers for ongoing training
