Job description

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to cover the Yorkshire region on a range of commercial (non-retail) sites. There will be some work in other locations, including occasional work in Luton, so a willingness to travel is a must.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a busy and growing company. Candidates must have demonstrable experience working within a Refrigeration Service role with exposure to working on commercial equipment, including Screw Compressor Packs, Ice Machines, Walk-ins, and Display Cabinets.

Candidates will occasionally be required to also aid with installations. Candidates MUST be F-GAS certified. A Company Van and all PPE will be provided. This is a permanent role available for an immediate start.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 45 hours (1 hour unpaid lunch) with all overtime paid at premium rates. Door to Door Travel. Van, Fuel Card, Essential Tools, iPad, and Phone all provided.

JOB ROLE

Key Responsibilities

1. Service and Maintenance of a range of equipment from Ice Machines to small chillers and screw packs.
2. Carrying out service and repair tasks to a high standard (some installation work required from time to time).
3. Completing SOP tasks.
4. Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely manner.
5. Updating client reporting systems in an accurate and timely manner.

Skill Set and Qualifications

1. Candidates must be time served and F-Gas certified - Cat 1.
2. Demonstrable experience working in an Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Service role.
3. Full UK Driving Licence.
