Job summary

Corecruitment International is seeking experienced Refrigeration Engineers for permanent and temporary opportunities across a large Midlands retail estate. The role focuses on service, maintenance, and reactive support for commercial refrigeration systems, with 40 or 45 hour weeks and an OTE of £55k-£60k plus a £2k joining bonus.

You will travel to sites, carry out PPMs to SFG20 standards, and ensure compliance with F-Gas and health & safety regulations while delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on commercial refrigeration systems within a retail or FM environment.
• Valid F-Gas (Category 1) qualification
• NVQ / City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems (packs, integrals, walk-ins)
• Fault finding and reactive breakdown response
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with SFG20 standards
• Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards
• Accurate completion of job reports via PDA/CAF system
• Providing excellent client-facing service while on-site
