Job description

A large national FM and maintenance company are looking for an experienced Refrigeration engineer to be based at a large Mobile sites in Bath. This is a fantastic role for the right person to join an established team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Installation and Commissioning: Set up refrigeration systems like HVAC units, walk-in coolers, and ice machines.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular maintenance and repair tasks on systems such as commercial freezers and cold storage units.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix issues with refrigeration systems, including chillers and display cases.
  • System Upgrades: Implement upgrades to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure systems comply with safety standards and refrigerant regulations.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed maintenance and repair records.
  • Energy Efficiency: Identify and implement energy-saving measures.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients about system status and maintenance activities.
  • Training and Supervision: Train and supervise junior staff.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to urgent issues to minimise downtime.

Qualification Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in refrigeration
  • F-Gas 2079
  • Driving Licence
