Job description

Job Function

To undertake refrigeration installation, commissioning, and maintenance works alongside the Refrigeration Commissioning team whilst operating in compliance with company policy and procedures.

Principle Accountabilities

• Represent the company professionally at all times and develop strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Deliver refrigeration installation, commissioning, and maintenance works on site in accordance with project specifications and within agreed timescales.
• Coordinate with the Project / Installation Manager to ensure timely, snag-free project completion to the specified standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, CBES HSE management systems, procedures, and instructions, and ensure colleagues and subcontractors follow safe work practices.
• Aim for snag-free completion; resolve snagging issues within 6 working days.
• Identify and resolve repair, maintenance, and installation issues impacting project delivery.
• Maintain company vehicle (if provided) in a clean, well-maintained, and serviced condition.
• Follow any other reasonable management instructions.

Key Performance Indicators

• Completion of work in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
• Resolution of site snagging issues within 6 days.
• Achieve and maintain 100% in health & safety and job-related competence.
• Maintain company vehicle (if applicable).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Extensive technical knowledge and experience working with refrigeration systems in the food retail sector.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Proactive attitude and self-motivation.
• Flexibility regarding working hours and travel.
• Good IT literacy.
• Full and clean driving license.
• Excellent communication skills.

Essential Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• City & Guilds (2079) F-Gas certification.
