Refrigeration Engineer - Milton Keynes/Luton/Oxford region

Responsibilities

To provide efficient and effective on-site repairs to client's refrigeration and air conditioning systems, and to offer a high level of customer service at all times. This will be achieved by including (but not restricted to) the following:

1. Attend sites wearing company uniform and presenting company identification.
2. Carry out maintenance or repair cost-effectively on client systems.
3. Provide advice and technical support to the client.
4. Compile clear and concise job reports.
5. Provide liaison between the client and Flowrite Services Office when required.
6. Work to agreed SLA’s.
7. Work safely and assess the nature of each task, ensuring your own safety, and that of others who may be affected by your operations.
8. Report any issues on site straight away to your regional supervisor, or operations manager.
9. Provide feedback to operations manager if you identify areas the company can improve on efficiency and service.

1. Permanent Contract
2. 20 days’ annual leave per annum, rising 1 day per year after 3 years’ service, to a maximum of 25.
3. Overtime available.
4. Opportunities for progression within company.
5. Normal Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00.
6. Rest time on call in line with guidance (11 hours).
7. Standby allowance of £125.00 per week on a rota basis.
8. Use of company van.
9. Limited private use of company mobile phone.
10. Uniform provided.
11. All PPE provided.

Experience Required

1. F-GAS category 1 or equivalent - Essential.
2. Previous experience working on various types of refrigeration equipment such as pack systems.
3. VRV/VRF systems and chillers.
4. Excellent problem solver with a dynamic approach.
5. Able to actively build and develop relationships with both colleagues and customers.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
