We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Engineers to join our Award-Winning team at Cold Control Services Limited. As a leading provider of refrigeration and air conditioning services, we specialise in installation, maintenance, and repair for residential and commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine service and maintenance on refrigeration and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and provide effective and timely repairs.
- Install, test, and commission new refrigeration and air conditioning systems according to industry standards and specifications.
- Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and recharging as required.
- Coordinate with clients to schedule service appointments and provide excellent customer service.
- Keep accurate records of service logs, equipment maintenance, and repairs performed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects and assignments within designated timeframes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Engineer.
- In-depth knowledge of various refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including commercial refrigeration, walk-in freezers, bottle coolers and ice machines.
- Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical malfunctions in refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
- Solid understanding of refrigerant handling and recovery procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid UK driver's license
- Relevant certifications, such as F-Gas, NVQ, or City & Guilds, are also required.
