Cold Control Services Limited is seeking a skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join our Award-Winning team. This full-time onsite role covers installation, maintenance, and repair for residential and commercial clients.

You will diagnose and repair systems, perform routine service, and ensure compliance with safety and refrigerant handling standards as part of a collaborative field team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Engineer.
• Knowledge of commercial refrigeration, walk-in freezers, bottle coolers and ice machines.
• Proficiency diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Understanding of refrigerant handling and recovery procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid UK driver’s license and certifications such as F-Gas, NVQ, or City & Guilds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine service and maintenance on refrigeration and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and provide effective and timely repairs.
• Install, test, and commission new refrigeration and air conditioning systems according to industry standards and specifications.
• Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and recharging as required.
• Coordinate with clients to schedule service appointments and provide excellent customer service.
• Keep accurate records of service logs, equipment maintenance, and repairs performed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects and assignments within designated timeframes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid UK driver's license
• Relevant certifications, such as F-Gas, NVQ, or City & Guilds, are also required.
