Refocus Room Supervisor
£24,205 - £26,683 p.a. (£28,142 - £31,022 p.a. pro‑ra) for 37 hours a week (term time / 39 weeks per year).
Working in a supportive role in a caring environment, you will oversee the provision of students who are withdrawn from lessons and are working within the Refocus Room at school. You will support them to reflect on barriers to success and how these can be overcome, as well as monitoring engagement and their learning within the environment.
This role holds strategic responsibility for the success of the Refocus Room with your focus being on student outcomes and behaviour transformation.
We are ideally looking for enthusiastic and self‑motivated applicants with experience of working with young people (voluntary or paid), preferably in a school environment, who are passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential. This is a rewarding and varied role where you will need a positive and flexible approach to work. Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8:00‑4:00 and Friday 8:00‑3:30.
