Job summary

We are seeking a Reflective Practitioner to join Simon Community and support the delivery of our People Plan (2024-2029). This role will embed reflective practice across frontline teams, fostering a psychologically safe, inclusive, and values-led work environment. Through monthly trauma-informed reflective sessions, the postholder will help build emotional resilience, self-awareness, and wellbeing among staff—contributing to reduced absence, improved retention, and stronger organisational support. Working closely with the Head of OD & HR, the role will also support managers in modelling trauma-informed leadership, provide informal wellbeing signposting, and deliver insight reporting to inform strategy and sustainability.

Essential Criteria
  • A third-level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. psychology, counselling, coaching, social work, organisational development, or related field).
  • Experience in group facilitation, within a wellbeing, support, training, or reflective practice context.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed principles and their application in workplace or support settings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and psychological safety.
  • Access to a car or suitable transport to meet the requirements of the role, including travel across multiple service locations.
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience working in homelessness, social care, or frontline support services.
  • Relevant qualification or training in reflective practice techniques and approaches
