We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Reflection Room Support Assistant to join the school on a part-time basis from September 2025.

This role plays a vital part in supporting the school s pastoral systems by helping students re-engage positively with their learning, develop emotional regulation, and make constructive behaviour choices. It s a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in young people's lives, particularly those who benefit from additional guidance and structure.

The Role:

• Provide supervision and pastoral support for students in the Reflection Room.
• Support students in reflecting on their behaviour, choices, and next steps.
• Work closely with the school s pastoral and behaviour teams to ensure effective interventions.
• Record and monitor student progress using internal systems.
• Promote a calm, respectful environment aligned with the school s values.

Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience working with secondary-aged pupils in a pastoral, mentoring or support role.
• Demonstrates resilience, empathy, and a firm but fair approach to behaviour management.
• Can build positive relationships with young people and encourage self-reflection.
• Has excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
