Job summary

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication to provide updates and explain issues clearly.
• IT competence to monitor and operate control systems.
• Ability to independently fault find and solve problems.
• Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Knowledge of safety, environment, hygiene and quality in refinery operations.
• Positive, proactive team contributor.

Responsibilities

• Operate the plant according to SOPs to meet safety, quality and environmental targets.
• Use control systems to monitor performance and adjust parameters as needed.
• Make timely adjustments to optimize the process and energy use.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and assist with incident investigations.
• Keep shift logs, handover information and communicate deviations clearly.
• Support training and standardisation of operating procedures within crews.
