Job Role - Referrals Coordinator
Location - Remote with travel when required

Role Overview
The referral coordinator manages the process of connecting complex adults or children with appropriate services within the Kisimul portfolio. This role involves reviewing referrals, gathering necessary information, coordinating assessments, and ensuring smooth communication between all parties involved. They will also maintain accurate records and may be involved in data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and reviewing referrals: Evaluating incoming referrals to determine suitability for the services and gathering additional information as needed.
- Coordinating assessments: Arranging and scheduling assessments or appointments with relevant providers or teams.
- Communication and liaison: Maintaining clear and consistent communication with referrers, clients, and service providers through phone and email.
- Record keeping and data management: Accurately documenting referral information, ensuring data is recorded on the CRM system and Kisimul Business Development SharePoint.
- Ensuring compliance: Adhering to organizational policies, procedures, and relevant regulations, including data protection and confidentiality.
- Supporting clinical and operational teams: Providing administrative support to clinical staff, including preparing referral information, facilitating case allocation, and managing referral data and outcomes.
- Monitoring and evaluation: Tracking referral pathways, analyzing data on volume and outcomes, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Providing information and support: Offering guidance to parents, referrers, and stakeholders regarding services and referral processes.
- Problem-solving: Troubleshooting issues related to referrals, such as delays, incomplete information, or discrepancies.

- Attention to detail: Accurate data entry and record-keeping.

- Knowledge of relevant systems and procedures: Understanding of the referral process, regulations, and organizational systems.
- Empathy and interpersonal skills: Sensitivity and understanding when interacting with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant IT systems: Experience with databases, spreadsheets, and software used for managing referrals.
