Job description

Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists is a large multidisciplinary referral hospital providing veterinary referral services across the South of England including London and the Thames Valley. Our specialist services include Anaesthesia and Analgesia, Orthopaedic surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Emergency and Critical Care, Oncology, and Diagnostic Imaging. The hospital is an ISFM gold feline clinic and was awarded the BVHA design award for an outstanding working environment. We are part of CVS (UK) Ltd, the largest provider of integrated veterinary services in the UK; the referrals division currently operates eight referral hospitals in the UK and Ireland.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic RVN to join our referral nursing team. This is a flexible role incorporating inpatient care, emergency and critical-care nursing, anaesthesia provision and working alongside our front line service clinicians. You will be working in a dedicated team of RVNs, PCAs and a specialist-led referral team. We support further professional development with a number of our nursing team having post graduate qualifications.

We have an 8 week induction process to help you settle into your new role and get to know the team.
