Job Description:

Archer Resourcing has a great new Referral and Assessment Social Worker role available in Slough.

As a Referral and Assessment Social Worker, you will develop outcome-based plans addressing the needs and risks of young people and their families. You will work closely with individuals to build positive relationships that contribute to improving their lives.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Contributing to the development of services for children and their families
• Promoting the delivery of integrated and effective services
• Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with partner agencies
• Identifying personal learning needs and ensuring practice reflects current thinking
• Addressing the needs of service users from all communities

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Social Work
• At least 4 years’ experience, including management within children’s social services
• Registered with Social Work England
• Strong communication skills
• Enhanced DBS within the last 12 months (on the update service for fast tracking)
• Knowledge of statutory frameworks, policies, procedures, and best practices
• Full driving license and access to own vehicle (advantageous)
