Team/Role Overview
This is an analyst position within the MAC (Master Agreement Central) Documentation Operations Unit. Ensuring that assigned day to day activities for the processing of trading legal agreements are completed in a timely manner with a primary focus on data quality support of global contract negotiations and trades which includes reviewing legal documentation/internal forms and being able to interpret the language in the documentation, entering critical data into our internal systems. The accuracy of that data is critical as this data is utilized by several downstream systems to perform Risk-Weighted Asset (RWA), Margin, Collateral Valuation Agent (CVA) computation and others.

The ideal candidate should have experience with similar data management tasks in a large office setting and have experience in a data processing field that requires 100% data accuracy. The candidate must be detail oriented, be able to interpret, follow strict rules and procedures and be able to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines. In addition, they must be able to work independently with limited oversight and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as the job requires extensive interaction with internal legal representatives as well as other areas of the firm.
It is a requirement of the position that the candidate have demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers to include MSWord, Excel, and the ability to learn and use various proprietary in-house systems including web-based programs and the like.
The individual must have strong communication skills to work closely with “makers” and other teams, providing feedback, sharing updates, and ensuring everyone is aligned. This role also includes providing training, answering questions, and offering learning sessions for the team. The ideal candidate must demonstrate leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure, while working with complex data requests and fast-paced environments.
• Eye for detail and be able to process data quickly without errors.
• Strong analytical skills. Be able to isolate root cause by looking at available data.
• Ability to manage control practices demonstrating a risk-based approach.
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to interact with Legal, Margin Ops and Credit teams.
• Ability to proficiently use MS Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Planning and organizing skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines as part of a team
• Willing to be involved in all aspects of a task
• Exhibit good attention to detail while focused on delivery
• Ability to work on several initiatives concurrently and cope with changes in priorities
