Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Technology Product Management Senior Analyst to bridge business users, operations, and technologists. You will define product requirements, manage backlogs, and drive platform enhancements within the Global Corporate Action Event Repository.

You will contribute to data analysis and feature definition, while working with data vendors and internal partners to ensure data quality and timely delivery across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant analytics/product management experience.
• Proven ability to write clear functional/technical specifications and user stories.
• Experience collaborating with IT, PM and Operations partners.
• Experience with data governance and data quality concepts preferred.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Awareness of AI/GenAI fundamentals and AI-ready data concepts.

Organization & Department Overview

The Master and Reference Data (MRD) organization is responsible for providing authoritative sources of reference data across the enterprise, through implementing state-of-the-art technologies and operational processes which promote the collection, storage, analysis, and distribution of product, pricing, account, and corporate action data. The MRD organization works in partnership with data clients across global business lines, deploying solutions to increase competitiveness through restructuring business processes, simplifying information access, and providing business intelligence around critical data.

The Technology Product Management Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users, operations, and technologists to define product requirements, manage backlogs, and drive platform enhancements. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration, product feature definition, and data analysis to maximize business value and platform adoption.

Team Overview

This Corporate Actions Product & Data Team works on a global strategic technology platform - Global Corporate Action Event Repository. Major tasks involve - processing Vendor Data Feeds, Analyzing and Researching Data, Working on Swift Messages, User Interface, Data publishing to downstream clients (via Cloud, custom publisher), Rules and Governance, Audit, Compliance. Coverage, Completeness, Accuracy, and Timeliness of information are the key drivers. Client and User requirements drive the overall product roadmap. It is a global team.

Required Skills

• Working with clients to capture business and product requirements
• Strong analytical and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications / user stories
• Validation and testing in collaboration with Dev/QA/Operations
• Understanding of Data Vendor/Data Source Hierarchy for Golden Copy
• Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis
• Ability to focus on high-quality work while under pressure
• Data oriented with excellent attention to detail

Preferred / Good to Have Skills

• Understanding of AI/GenAI fundamentals and how to structure "AI-ready" reference data
• Exposure to process automation, workflow streamlining, or intelligent data quality checks

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Proven ability to use complex analytical,interpretiveand problem-solving techniques
• Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills
• Consistentlydemonstrateclear and concise written and verbal communication
• Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail
