Job summary

The University of Nottingham invites applications for an REF Impact Officer to support the Impact and Engagement elements of the REF submission. The role collaborates with Chemistry (UoA8) and Physics (UoA9) units of assessment and will be based primarily at the University Park campus, with potential for some home working.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance potential REF impact case studies for REF2029, including narrative building and evidence gathering.
• Provide expertise to UoAs on REF impact case study eligibility and development.
• Develop best practices for identifying, developing and writing impact case studies.
• Support periodic progress reviews for REF2029, ensuring records are secure and up to date.
• Liaise with colleagues from other UoAs to identify and support cross-UoA case studies.
