West London Forensic Service inpatient wards provide a safe and therapeutic environment for mental health service users detained under the Mental Health Act. The core aim is to offer care based on Trauma-Informed principles and the least restrictive practices, ensuring safety and effective governance.
This role involves improving restrictive practices while maintaining safety and governance, working with the Restrictive Practice Lead to monitor performance data, and supporting the development of policies and training programs. The post holder will work within the inpatient team, formulate and evaluate interventions, provide training and supervision, liaise with external agencies, and contribute to service development.
