Starling is hiring an Offensive Security specialist to join the team in the UK. You will lead red and purple team activities, design cyber resilience exercises, and emulate threat actors against Starling's cloud and endpoint landscape.

The role emphasizes practical threat emulation, vulnerability remediation, and collaboration across security functions to strengthen the organisation's resilience. A strong background in offensive security and relevant certifications is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Offensive Security experience OR equivalent cyber resilience work.
• Experience emulating real-world threats and testing defenses using MITRE TTPs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end red and purple team operations and design cyber resilience exercises.
• Emulate real-world threat actors and test cloud and endpoint defenses.
• Research emerging threats and adapt TTPs for assessments.
• Remediate vulnerabilities and improve playbooks with defensive teams.
