Job summary

Lidl is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Recycling) in the United Kingdom. The role supports recycling across the warehouse, handling card, plastic, and food waste with a fast-paced team.

You’ll help keep operations moving, work with colleagues and contractors, and use the Warehouse Management System daily. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, pro rata holiday, pension, and benefits designed to support wellbeing and life outside Lidl.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Willingness to work with all types of stock indoors, outdoors, or in chilled areas.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks.
• Good attention to detail, even when working quickly.

Responsibilities

• Check vehicles into the recycling area.
• Process card, plastic, and food waste efficiently.
• Work with contractors and colleagues to keep collections on track.
• Update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) with pallet counts and report issues.
• Use machinery safely to move pallets and complete tasks.
• Support driver debriefs and check outbound lanes to ensure pallets are in the right place.
• Help warehouse operations and keep standards high with a clean-as-you-go approach.
