Job summary

Clearline Recruitment Ltd in Lewes is assisting a busy recycling facility to fill a General Recycling Operative role on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The role involves sorting and handling commercial waste and recyclables, loading and unloading, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

You should be comfortable with physical manual work, able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather, and have a reliable and hardworking approach.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sort and handle commercial waste and recyclable materials.
• Pick items from conveyor belts.
• Feed materials into recycling machinery.
• Assist with loading and moving materials around site.
• Carry out manual handling duties safely.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
