Enva Recycling Scotland in Newbridge is hiring a Recycling Operative to join our team in Newbridge. This permanent role runs from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm and offers a stable career in a growing company.

You will segregate construction waste (wood, metal, plasterboard, brick), keep the site clean and safe, and support baling operations. A full driving licence and safety mindset are essential for this busy role.

Description

Enva Recycling Scotland is hiring a Recycling Operative to join our team in Newbridge.
This is a permanent role, from 6:am to 4:00pm.

In this role, you will be directly involved in the segregation and sorting of construction material, ensuring we maximise recovery levels from this material sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and segregate construction waste (wood,metal,plasterboard,brick)
• Clean and do housekeeping of work area and site to ensure safe working environment
• Adhere to company health and safety policies
• Assist with baling operations (cardboard, paper, plastics)
• Complete any other duties required within operational capability

This is not an exhaustive list. You may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by the business that you are qualified/trained in that meet the requirements of this role.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Full clean driving licence (public transport links are poor)
• Safety conscious – role involved working with fixed plant and conveyors, and site is busy with vehicles and mobile plant
