A leading facility management provider in Cramlington is looking for a customer-focused Environmental Cleaning Operative to perform cleaning, maintenance, and landscaping duties. The candidate must have experience in an outdoor environment and a commitment to delivering outstanding standards. ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
We are looking for a customer focused Environmental Cleaning Operative. Experience and a desire to deliver outstanding standards throughout the key areas of the centre are paramount, these include cleaning, maintenance, and landscaping. You need to have experience at working in an outdoor environment and have a strong background in this industry as well as a “can-do customer focused approach”.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Carry out cleaning duties in a correct and timely manner in accordance with the site cleaning specification. This includes outdoor cleaning, toilet, and office cleaning
• Interact with members of the public and offer great customer service when required carry out cleaning assignment responsibilities as designated by their Line Manager
• Liaise with the Line Manager, Site Management, and team members daily so that a sound communication channel exists
• Maintain and correct / safe usage of all equipment on site ensuring any faults are reported and resolved as a matter of priority
• Ensure correct usage of cleaning chemicals ensuring minimal waste and sufficient stocks are always maintained
• Adhere to the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and Procedures
• Maintain an excellent working relationship with the client and other stakeholders on site
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Previous industry experience in a similar role is essential.
• Able to carry out manual duties
• Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues, members of the public and with site management.
• Ability to get on well with others and inspire respect and confidence.
• Have a great attention to detail
• Be a flexible and supportive team player
