Job summary

Booker Group plc is seeking a Recruitment Team Leader at our Head Office in Wellingborough to manage a team of seven Recruitment Coordinators supporting our Cash & Carry business. You will drive recruitment across the Branch and Distribution Centre network and ensure an excellent candidate and hiring-manager experience.

This role requires a results-driven leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous recruitment experience within an in-house recruitment team or recruitment agency.
• Experience leading, motivating and developing a team.
• Experience managing recruitment performance, reporting and KPIs.
• Knowledge of recruitment processes, compliance and employment legislation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ideally Tribepad.
• Knowledge of the wholesale or retail sector would be advantageous.

• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the recruitment experience.
• Supporting volume recruitment activity when required.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Recruitment Team Leader to manage a team of seven Recruitment Coordinators supporting our Cash & Carry business.

In this role, you'll lead a team responsible for delivering a high-quality recruitment service across our Branch and Distribution Centre network. You'll play a key part in driving recruitment, supporting hiring managers, developing your team, and ensuring an excellent experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven team leader who is passionate about recruitment, enjoys leading people, improving processes and working in a fast-paced environment.

Based at our Head Office in Wellingborough (Equity House), this role is working Monday to Friday. You'll be managing a team that operates between 8.00am and 5.30pm therefore a need to be flexible on start and finish times will be necessary. Ideally, we are looking to offer rotational hours of 8.00am-4.30pm/9.00am-5.30pm.

You will be responsible for
