Job description

Stafforce has an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Supervisor within a fast-paced factory in Stowmarket, IP14.

This is an ongoing opportunity, and you will be working with our client Ichiban, one of the UK's largest sushi producers for almost two decades, offering extensive benefits and weekly pay.

Weekends only, 5.30am till 6pm, potential to pick up shifts through the week.

Pay: 12.71 p/hour

Job Purpose
  • To work closely with the Account Management team and the Client to ensure order fulfilment.
  • To effectively & successfully integrate new Candidates into the Client's business.
  • To coach, develop and motivate the Candidates (and Coordinators when applicable) to 'Be Their Best'
  • To ensure all policies and procedures are followed including holiday, absence and availability
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment Supervisor is a Hybrid role consisting of both office and line work.
  • Ensure personal and Candidate compliance with both the Nicholas Associates Group and the Client's Health & Safety policies, company procedures & Food Hygiene Legislations, monitored via audit process.
  • Complete Candidate evaluations, using these as an opportunity to address feedback, motivate and identify development areas.
  • Managing Candidate availability, processing holiday requests and conducting shift check-ins.
  • Maintaining the required paperwork such as evaluation forms & shift bookings reports to manage and monitor attendance and timekeeping. Ensure timesheets are signed off by Production management at the end of every shift.
  • Completion of thorough RTW interviews to ensure compliance with food safety around candidate fitness for work.
  • Managing PPE & lockers, including issue and recovery. Liaising with Account Manager for replenishment and ensuring locker management is carried out i.e. closed at the beginning and end of every shift.
  • Seek feedback from both Client and Candidate, striving to exceed expectations and identify areas of improvement, adding value.
  • Managing absence of workforce & direct reports in conjunction with Account Manager to ensure appropriate cover in place.
  • Conduct effective Shift handovers, to include completion of the shift report, mobile phone handover and ensure key focus areas/concerns are communicated.
  • Be responsible for the on call phone whilst on shift and ensuring absence policy is followed.
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications Required as a Recruitment Supervisor
  • Strong communication skills both written & verbal.
  • Customer service experience essential.
  • On-site recruitment experience preferred.
  • Good IT skills.
  • GCSE English and Maths grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Ability to organise and prioritise.
  • Excels within a fast paced environment.
