Recruitment Partner - Onboarding Assistant Manager

Salary: to £55,000 p.a.
Location: London, UK
Type: PERM

Purpose: The role involves managing end-to-end recruitment and resourcing for a global banking and investment group. Responsibilities include workforce planning, promoting diversity, ensuring legal compliance, supporting onboarding/offboarding, and contributing to operational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Resourcing: Manage agency relationships, develop new sourcing strategies, collaborate with hiring managers and candidates, negotiate offers, conduct market searches, screen CVs, and ensure compliance with RTW laws. Promote internal mobility and support headcount planning.
  2. Vetting: Coordinate with vetting agencies, ensure compliance, review vetting reports, and oversee vetting administration, maintaining regulatory standards.
  3. Coaching and Support: Assist line managers with job design, interview training, and recruitment guidance throughout the hiring process.
  4. Reporting and Administration: Track headcount, maintain recruitment policies, monitor employment law changes, update procedures, keep records, generate KPIs, and manage invoices and budgets.
  5. Onboarding/Offboarding: Oversee onboarding processes, monitor probation, ensure completion of mandatory training, conduct exit interviews, and support employee lifecycle administration.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; CIPD qualification preferred.

Skills and Experience: Minimum 2 years recruitment experience, preferably in financial services; competency-based interviewing skills; proficiency in MS Office; excellent communication; understanding UK immigration schemes; ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
