Following the People Team review we are seeking an internal candidate who is dynamic, people-oriented, possesses relevant transferable skills, and embodies our core behaviours for this exciting role. As the Recruitment Onboarding Manager, you will oversee two recruitment and onboarding coordination teams and contribute to shaping the future of our talent acquisition process. This is a unique opportunity to unify these teams for the first time and strategically plan for their future development.

As a key member of the recruitment leadership team, you will lead your team through the entire onboarding process. This includes early engagement, supporting Recruitment Advisors during interview process, overseeing the formal offer and onboarding procedures, and ensuring a smooth transition to their first day. Collaborating with our hiring managers, you will ensure that every new employee feels welcomed, supported, and in alignment with our values from the outset.

You will have the opportunity to shape how we take our candidates through the onboarding journey from interview to their 1st day! This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be with the team based in Huntingdon 2-3 days a week.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading and developing a team of recruitment and onboarding coordinators to deliver a seamless, compliant, and engaging onboarding experience.

  • Championing our employer brand and employee value proposition by embedding inclusive, candidate focused practices into every touch point.

  • Owning and continuously improving recruitment administration and onboarding processes, including interview scheduling, contract generation, background screening and visa sponsorship.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders across People, Occupational Health, hiring managers and external partners to ensure smooth transitions for new starters.

  • Using data and insights to drive improvements and support strategic workforce planning.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence across teams and levels.

  • Proven success in leading a team through change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, right to work, and visa sponsorship (desirable).

  • Confident using HR Information Systems and Applicant Tracking platforms for onboarding (desirable).
