Job description

We are looking to recruit a Recruitment & Onboarding Adviser on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £30,300 per annum and generous benefits.

We are now seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment & Onboarding Adviser to help us attract, recruit, and integrate talented individuals who will contribute to our vibrant college community. The Role

As our Recruitment & Onboarding Adviser, you will lead and manage recruitment campaigns from start to finish, ensuring a smooth, inclusive, and engaging experience for all candidates. You’ll work closely with hiring managers and external partners to deliver strategic and operational recruitment support that aligns with the college’s people strategy.

Responsibilities As Our Recruitment & Onboarding Adviser Will Include

  • Leading end-to-end recruitment campaigns and developing targeted sourcing strategies
  • Partner with hiring managers to plan and deliver effective hiring strategies
  • Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, onboarding and pre-employment checks
  • Ensure compliance with Safer Recruitment and employment legislation
  • Champion a positive candidate experience and manage recruitment systems

As our Recruitment & Onboarding Adviser, you’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in recruitment or HR, ideally within education or the public sector
  • Strong understanding of recruitment legislation and best practice
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with recruitment systems and data reporting
  • A CIPD Level 5 or higher qualification (or working towards)
