Overview

Recruitment Officer (Part-Time) – Telford Training Centre

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 (FTE, salary will be pro rata - £10,400 - £15,000) + OTE

Location: Telford Training Centre

Hours: Part-time (2 – 2.5 days per week)

Contract: Permanent

As our Recruitment Officer, you’ll be at the heart of that mission – finding, securing, and organising meaningful work experience placements that give our students the skills, insight, and connections they need to succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Sourcing work placements with local employers that inspire and challenge our students
  • Building strong partnerships with businesses, schools, agencies, and community groups
  • Showcasing Juniper pathways and apprenticeships at careers events, recruitment fairs, and pop-up stands
  • Using social media creatively to highlight success stories and attract new opportunities
  • Meeting with students, understanding their career ambitions, and matching them with the right placements
  • Keeping our Telford centre on track to meet its placement and recruitment goals
What We’re Looking For
  • Confident, outgoing, and great at building rapport
  • Organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Goal-driven with experience in outreach, sales, marketing, or recruitment
  • Someone who enjoys working with young people and guiding them into the world of work
  • Comfortable using social media to connect and engage
Essential
  • Level 2 English & Maths (or equivalent)
  • Experience in outreach, sales, marketing, or recruitment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable
  • CEIAG Level 3/4 qualification
  • Experience in education/training
  • Experience working with 16–18-year-olds
