Role: Recruitment Specialist - Permanent - Magherafelt

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, from job scoping and advertising through to offer, onboarding, and probation, ensuring a seamless candidate journey.
  • Build and strengthen our employer brand, crafting and updating job descriptions that showcase our roles effectively.
  • Source candidates proactively via job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct outreach, while developing a strong talent pipeline through professional networks.
  • Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, organise assessments, and coordinate interview scheduling, inductions, and pre-employment checks.
  • Coach and support hiring managers on interview best practices and partner with them to develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvements in recruitment processes and the overall candidate experience.
  • Support Apprenticeship agreements, training initiatives, and progress reporting to foster ongoing talent development.

Essential:

  • Proven experience in an in-house or agency recruitment role.
  • Strong knowledge of the full recruitment lifecycle and best practice processes.
  • Proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing deadlines effectively.
  • Understanding of relevant employment legislation and recruitment compliance.

Desirable:

  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent HR qualification.
  • Experience recruiting for technical, trade, and operational roles.
  • Familiarity with recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies.
