This senior, hands‑on role combines people leadership, workforce planning, recruitment strategy and client relationship management. You will ensure projects have the right people in place, while developing a strong regional talent pipeline.

£55,000 – £65,000 | Monday to Friday | Scotland & Borders

We’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager to take ownership of recruitment operations across Scotland and the Borders, supporting the delivery of skilled plant operators to major projects.

This is a senior, hands‑on role combining people leadership, workforce planning, recruitment strategy and client relationship management. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects have the right people in place at the right time, while developing a strong and sustainable talent pipeline across the region.

The Role

You’ll manage the end-to-end recruitment and supply process for major projects across your region, working closely with operational, project and management teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading recruitment operations across Scotland and the Borders
• Developing and implementing strategies to grow the regional talent pipeline
• Managing workforce planning to ensure operators are placed in line with project requirements
• Building strong relationships with clients, site personnel and internal teams
• Managing inbound and outbound calls and day-to-day customer communications
• Working closely with operational and project management teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Managing expectations and resolving operational challenges proactively
• Providing leadership, direction and feedback to the recruitment teamMonitoring team performance, engagement, productivity and retention
• Ensuring confidential information is handled appropriately and in line with GDPR
• Maintaining a strong understanding of the company’s plant fleet and operational requirements

About You

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership, make decisions and lead from the front.

• An experienced recruitment or resourcing professional with strong operational experience

• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment

• Confident managing competing priorities and making decisions under pressure

• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel; CRM experience would be advantageous
