Overview

Job Description: Experienced recruiter with a passion for HR. 9-month maternity cover contract, with potential to be extended. Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm. This role offers hybrid working, with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the recruitment process for aviation roles - from attraction and assessment to placement.
  • Building strong networks with aviation talent, including Licensed Engineers, Mechanics and supporting roles; includes office, financial, technical etc.
  • Managing assessment days and recruitment fairs.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand needs and provide best-practice recruitment support.
  • Supporting onboarding for new starters - preparing documentation, delivering HR inductions and verifying right to work checks.
  • Assisting with leaver processes and exit interviews.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and preparing HR reports.
  • Monitoring sickness levels and supporting absence management processes.
  • Contributing to employee engagement initiatives and wider HR projects.
  • Supportive team culture with opportunities to learn and develop.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Previous experience in a HR administrative or support role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proficient in using recruitment software, HR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with occasional travel required for assessment days and recruitment fairs.
Desirables
  • Experience within the aviation industry or similar engineering or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of aviation roles, qualifications and regulations is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in an HR administrative or support role is an advantage.
