Job description

An exciting job opportunity has arisen at Leeds United Football Club for Recruitment Data Analysts.

Elland Road has been the home of Leeds United since 1919 and remains one of English football's great theatres. It is considered ‘the only place for us' ever since.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Be part of the team of analysts in the recruitment department.
  2. Provide recommendations for best practice and data innovation for more effective scouting and recruitment operations.
  3. Engage in strategic planning of analysis, preparation, and presentation to key stakeholders.
  4. Develop reports and dashboards.
  5. Demonstrate a high level of competency in data analysis tools such as Python, Power BI, Qlik, SQL, Tableau, and other relevant software.
  6. Manage and report data, create data visualizations, and develop data workflows.
  7. Exhibit strong analytical and presentation skills.
  8. Work effectively in high-pressure environments, both independently and as part of a team.

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • BSc or BA degree in sport or a relevant vocational qualification with experience understanding the technical and tactical demands of professional football.
  • Formal training in research methods.
  • Experience with performance analysis systems and software.
  • Expertise in analyzing professional players.
  • Background or experience in scouting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Possession of a valid UK Driving License.
