Job summary

Cole Connections Ltd in Manchester City Centre is recruiting a Recruitment Consultant to join a growing STEM-focused team. The role covers CNC, Advanced Engineering, and related technical markets with a 360 remit, developing new business and expanding an on-site and remote candidate network.

You’ll work across permanent and contract recruitment, with autonomy and the backing of established clients and international reach. Hybrid schedule, 2–3 days on-site, with US market focus.

Qualifications

• 12–18 months 360 recruitment experience or more, ready for next step
• Experience in CNC, Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation or Advanced Engineering recruitment
• Ability to develop new business and own client relationships
• Willingness to work US market and hybrid on-site model

£30,000 - £50,000 base DOE + Uncapped Commission Hybrid – 2-3 days a week on-site US working hours – 11am-8pm Are you a recruiter with experience across Engineering, Manufacturing, CNC or another technical market looking to develop your career within the US recruitment market? We're recruiting a number of Recruitment Consultants to join a growing specialist team in Manchester, including an opportunity focused on the US CNC and Advanced Engineering market. This is an established and growing market with existing clients, live opportunities and candidate networks already in place, giving you a strong platform from which to develop your desk.

The opportunity

You'll work across specialist areas including:

• CNC and precision manufacturing
• Advanced Engineering
• Engineering and Manufacturing
• Automation
• Related technical markets

This is a full 360 role where you'll develop new business, grow existing client relationships and build a strong US candidate network. There is opportunity across both permanent and contract recruitment, including the potential to develop a sustainable contract book alongside permanent business. You'll have autonomy to take ownership of your market while benefiting from the infrastructure, relationships and international reach of an established STEM recruitment group.

What we're looking for

We're happy to consider recruiters with around 12-18 months' 360 recruitment experience who are ready for their next step, through to established Senior and Principal Consultants looking for greater autonomy and earning potential. Experience within CNC, Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation or Advanced Engineering recruitment would be particularly relevant. Previous US market experience would be highly beneficial. You'll ideally bring:

• 360 recruitment experience
• Business development and relationship-building skills
• A track record of recruitment delivery
• A commercial, entrepreneurial approach
• Confidence developing your own client base
