Job Description

My client, a White Collar Construction recruitment agency, is seeking experienced recruitment consultants to join their growing team. You can come from a construction recruitment background or another market as long as you have worked on professional roles that require proactive sourcing. You could also come from a resourcing background and want to move to a full 360 role.

They are looking for someone with a long-term plan, someone who wants to stay long-term and potentially become a future manager within the team. They are a White Collar specialist construction search agency, focusing on roles between £50K and £120K.

They work on roles such as Project Managers, Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, etc., in London and surrounding areas.

The Role

1. Strategic and well thought out approaches to the main contracting and sub-contracting market.
2. Head hunting senior-level white collar candidates.
3. Grow a desk and recruit independently, while also hiring a team and expanding the business.
4. Take on increasing responsibilities, managing verticals and hubs/teams across different white collar sectors.
5. Drive the business forward with a start-up mentality, market the business, network, and enhance brand presence.
6. Form strategic, long-term relationships with clients to grow significant accounts for future servicing.

Ideal Candidate

• Ideally, you will have 1+ years of 360 recruitment experience, with mentorship and support from the MD.
• Experience as a perm consultant or managing a dual desk.
• Open-minded, adaptable, eager to learn, improve, and push forward.
• Experience in filling commercial roles across sectors like IT, Property, Legal, Construction white collar, Finance, etc.
• Experience hiring senior or hard-to-fill roles.
• Proficiency in LinkedIn headhunting.
• Ambitious with a desire to progress and achieve promotions.
• Strong commercial acumen, able to develop business plans and communicate effectively with senior candidates and clients.
• Cultural fit: proactive, driven, innovative, and collaborative with the MD.

Earning Potential

Salary and package are flexible based on experience and contribution. No threshold before earning commission. Earn 10% on the first £50K billed in half a year, and 30% on amounts over £50K. Average fees are £8K-£10K. For example, billing £300K could earn approximately £70K in commission.
